Mary Hett is a consultant at The FutureWork Institute, Inc.® in its Western region. Her focus is helping organizations develop sustainable competitive advantage through meeting the needs of the changing workforce. Ms. Hett has worked on and managed global and domestic client assignments involving such issues as diversity management, organizational transitions, mentoring, cross-cultural communications, and sexual harassment. Areas of expertise include organizational analysis, diversity training, focus group facilitation, women's issues, harassment prevention and research. She has consulted with many Fortune 500 clients in a variety of industries both domestic and international. Clients include AOL Time Warner, Alliance Capital Management Corporation, AstraZeneca, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Chase Manhattan Bank, Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange, Conexant, Cosmair, Deutsche Bank, New York Stock Exchange, Fluor, PaineWebber, PepsiCo, IMS America, Lynch and Mayer, PolyGram Holdings, Inc. and Toys 'R' Us. Before joining Towers Perrin, Ms. Hett worked with Time Warner Inc. Ms. Hett has studied and lived abroad in many countries including France, Reunion Island and Nepal. She has recently published an article on work/life and corporate culture which was given national exposure through the Work & Family Connection.
