Yael C. Sivi is a consultant and coach with The FutureWork Institute, Inc.^®

As a consultant, her focus is on helping organizations understand the needs of employees in order to create inclusive climates that promote engagement and growth.

Ms. Sivi has worked on numerous global and domestic diversity assignments-usually in the role of researcher, facilitator and/or trainer. She has also managed several assignments including large-scale diversity organizational assessments involving benchmarking research, diversity desk reviews, executive interviews, and focus groups. Clients include American Express, AstraZeneca, Battelle, Citibank, Convergys, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, MetLife, Securities Industry Institute, among others.

Ms. Sivi's areas of expertise include Generation X, mentoring, women's issues, emotional intelligence for managers and leaders, sexual harassment training, work/life flexibility, and non-violent communications. Ms. Sivi has consulted with several organizations, including the United Nations, on the development of a mentoring program for the organization's young professionals. She has spoken publicly about her mentoring work in addition to Generation X in the workplace.

Ms. Sivi is also a management coach, having been trained as a Co-Active Coach by the Coaches Training Institute. In her role as a coach, Ms. Sivi is interested in helping individuals reach higher levels of authenticity, effectiveness, and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.

Before joining The FutureWork Institute, Ms. Sivi was a consultant in the Global Diversity Practice of Towers Perrin (the origin of The FutureWork Institute). Previous to that she worked as a Marketing Manager at Scholastic, Inc. She has also worked at several not-for-profit organizations where she provided counseling and case management to indigent clients.

Ms. Sivi has studied and lived abroad in many countries, including Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, Israel, and Germany. She is fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Sivi holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University with an emphasis in industrial social work. She earned her BA in Urban Studies at Macalester College in St. Paul.
