Joseph
Gibbons is a FutureWork Institute consultant specializing in Human Capital Management
and Diversity. The author of seven books, he has served on the Towers Perrin
People Strategy and HR Effectiveness Core Teams and has specialized in workforce
demographics, selection, career and executive development as a human resource
management consultant. He has been in the forefront of studies on the changing
workforce and directed the nationwide Towers Perrin study: Workforce 2000: Competing
in a Seller's Market. He completed a study with the National Association of
Manufacturers on the state of America's skill readiness, has contracted with
a federal agency on creative ways to fund national skills training needs at
all levels, and has spoken at many forums on employment issues as they affect
a changing workforce. Mr. Gibbons has been a tenured professor of Human Relations,
