Tanya Odom is an affiliate consultant at the FutureWork Institute who has worked with both corporate and university clients. Her international experience includes work in Mexico and the Dominican Republic in the area of community development and as a health advocate, where she assisted in implementing international projects. Ms. Odom also has been very involved in the European Union’s recent projects focusing on bias, discrimination and bigotry, where she has facilitated diversity workshops for adults and youth in 8 different European countries. She has presented at many national conferences and symposiums and is an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College, teaching graduate courses in Diversity, Leadership and Team Development. She also is currently working on a Harlem Oral History Project with We Care Media. Ms. Odom graduated from Vassar College in 1992 with a B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology and with a correlate sequence in Women’s Studies. She also has a Masters degree in Education from Harvard University.
