Our operation
of over 25 consultants in Asia is led by Mr. E Sivanandan (Sivan)
who has over 25 years experience working with major organisations to help
them with complex and demanding Organisational Development and Change
Management issues. Sivan has a distinguished career in HR. He was ICI’s
(then one of the three largest chemical companies in the world) HR General
Manager for Southeast Asia and the elected Vice President of The Malaysian
Institute of Human Resource Management and currently a Fellow of that
organization in Malaysia.
Sivan is the founder and CEO of TSI Consulting which is our strategic
alliance
partner in Asia. In this role, over the last 10 years, Sivan has become
increasingly
involved in diversity and inclusion issues in Asia. These include:
• Undertaking Diversity/Employer of Choice Organisational Assessments
In a global Diversity/“Employer of Choice” Organisation
Assessment which,
in Asia, was conducted for the client’s offices in India and the
Philippines.
Sivan was involved in leading the work and ensuring that the cultures
of
these two regions were fully understood in carrying out the work and
interpreting the results.
• Providing Training and Coaching
in Building Corporate and Inclusive
Leadership Behaviours
The firm designed and facilitated workshops for a Southeast Asia client
at which
the management participants identified the behaviours they needed to practise
to build a more corporate and inclusive culture. They then facilitated
exercises
to enable the managers to develop skills in practising these behaviours.
• Leading Strategy Conclaves to Develop
‘One Company’ Cultures
Sivan led a three-day conclave for the top 20 executives of a Malaysian-owned
global conglomerate firm. The executives generated a strategy to achieve
more
corporate focus and synergy.
